Ratings: ‘K-E-Z’ leads static top five

The latest Nielsen Audio ratings for metro Phoenix showed very little movement among the upper tier of stations; in fact, the top five remained the same.

K-E-Z” crowned the chart for the fourth consecutive time — twice now since its annual Christmas music bonanza ended. KSLX (#2), KNIX (#3), “Mix” (#4) and KUPD (#5) held steady, as did KOOL (#7) and “Camel Country” (#8).

The big exception was “Kiss FM,” which registered a healthy increase in audience share and jumped from a #9 tie to #6. “The Mountain” stayed the same in audience percentage, yet slipped back into the top 10 as talker KTAR slipped to #12 behind public radio’s KJZZ.
