Note to wife:
Admittedly this year’s version of the Winter Wonderland cartoon reflects abnormal conditions elsewhere, thanks to the “polar vortex.” Yesterday’s high in Chicago was -14 and the low -23. This was in actual degrees, not windchill factor. So our annual comparison might be ridiculously unfair this time, but whatever the temperatures, it’s a reminder that we are blessed to live in Phoenix during the winter.
