Ratings: ‘K-E-Z’ breaks tie for #1 Phoenix station

Following last month’s tie at the top, “K-E-Z” pulled ahead of KSLX to reclaim sole possession of #1 according to the latest Nielsen Audio ratings for metro Phoenix. Both stations continue to outperform all others by healthy margins.

KUPD moved up a spot to #3, while KOOL fell to #4.  Likewise swapping positions were “Mix” (#5) and “The Mountain” (#6).

KNIX and chief competitor “Camel Country” each fell a notch, the latter tying with “Kiss FM” at #9.

Below the top 10, talker KTAR inched up to #11, while rival KFYI tumbled from a #13 tie to #23. Regional Mexican outlet “Radio Tricolor” (KLNZ) showed significant gain to land at #14, and “Alt” (KDKB) continued its upward trend, moving from #18 to #15.

These results represent radio listeners age 6 and older during an average quarter hour from 6 a.m. to midnight daily.
