Ratings: ‘K-E-Z’ and KSLX remain tops, despite losses

K-E-Z” makes it 22 surveys in a row as the most popular radio station in metro Phoenix, according to the latest Nielsen Audio ratings. Classic rock KSLX continued at the runner-up spot, although both stations suffered erosion of their audience share. Classic hits KOOL also was down, but remained at #3 in the ranking.

Gaining audience share this time were KUPD, “The Mountain” and KTAR.

No new stations entered the top 10. Below the golden circle, the largest gain was by “Que Buena” (KHOT), which jumped from #20 to #12. Longtime powerhouses “Live” (KALV) and talker KFYI continued to linger just outside the top 10.

These results represent radio listeners age 6 and older during an average quarter hour from 6 a.m. to midnight daily.
